Ok if this cruise looks very similar to the one that we did 2 years earlier, you're right.  Similar ship, same destination, different company.....just as much fun.  This time Janette's Mum & her friend Hazel from NZ'd accompanied us for what turned out to be another 7 days of sheer enjoyment.

Now don't you just hate getting "bumped".  When we went to check into our cabin, we found out that we had been upgraded from an inside cabin to an outside cabin with a large window.  Oh well, as we are now "regular" cruise customers it is only right that they look after us.  The Pacific Star was not quite as big as our previous ship and we found ourselves often comparing the two. We made a pact that future cruises would always be on bigger and better ships......geez 2 cruises under our belt and we are getting picky already.

Evening dinners were shared with Julie, Larissa & Darcy who became good friends on the cruise and were an absolute barrel of laughs. I think we were easily the noisiest table in the dining room. Julie & Larissa brought a "race horse" whilst on the cruise and decided to syndicate it.  Naturally we brought a share in the thoroughbred and with Darcy as our jockey we were certain to win.

Lifou - P&O CruiseOur stop at Lifou once again was magnificent and this time we had brought our own snorkelling equipment.  Jan & I made our way straight to the bay and were first into the water where the visibility was extremely good and the sights amazing.  This time we remembered to slip, slop slap so that we didn't repeat out lobster impersonations like in Thailand a few years earlier.

We spent the last 2 days cruising home where once again the entertainment was non stop. With cruise number 2 down, will we cruise again....you bet.

So many places, so little time.
